“3Z Arctic City” floats around the far northern latitudes.

“3Z Arctic City” floats around the far northern latitudes. It can often be seen above  Greenland, Iceland, Northern Canada and Alaska.

3Z started its flight in 2076 from the Shetland Aerospace fabrication facility in Scotland. It took five years to complete. The concept idea for the floating city started life during a trip to Iceland in 2016 just before the dawn of the age of the super cities.

Ion solar neutron thrusters power the floating city, it can hover at very low altitudes but at the same time it  uses the arctic jet streams to move at higher speeds during trans continental voyages.

3Z Arctic City

The citizens harvest the sunlight and also harvest the biomatter of the sea too.

The small pod is used for this harvesting purpose and to shuttle citizens and visitors to the nearest city ports in Reykjavik in Iceland, Nuuk City in Greenland and Anchorage in Alaska.

If you are on a latitude above northern Scotland, you can often see if floating above the arctic peaks glowing in the golden midnight sun or in the winter, the structure will reflect colors of the aurora borealis.

If you are flying on transcontinental shuttles, the city is a beautiful site when viewed from above from window seats.
