I took a day to make a light-hearted science fiction Futuristic Highland Cow 3D Model and get it printed using a 3D printer. All these Highland cow paintings in Scotland do people outside this country think of Scotland is it full of these things? Sure, they are cute etc but for me, I see to many of these things in galleries, massive paint splashed Highland Cow art.

Enough! So, I thought to make a Futuristic Highland Cow 3D Model complete with space helmet! Ready to leave the beauty of the Glens and Lochs and to embark on an interplanetary journey!
I like the future, so I thought that the highland cow can now look towards the future and not be an anachronism.

The Model
I will get this model 3D printed and for sale on my shop so watch this space of sign up to my newsletter below and I will do another blog post about optimising this and getting it 3d printed both on an accessible Ultimaker 3D printer machine and also as a stainless steel metal print with the print company Shapeways. I used 3DS Max and also Blender to make it. The processes are fairly normal so you can use them if you are using a different software package too.
Here, I show you how I made and modelled it, the process, so you can make something similar.
