Waves Of The Algarve
I just finished a series of six images inspired by ocean waves in the Algarve in Portugal. I just spent some time there over Christmas. I stayed at The Good Feeling Surf Hostel, a great place to stay to get the best of the local surf with dedicated owners who know their surf and are all round great hosts.
As many of you know, I love surfing. One of the main things I am fascinated with surfing is the energy of the wave and how you can never fully grasp the form or shape of them. In the same way as when you ride the wave, watching them gives you a glimpse of something beyond what we perceive as reality, the colours, the lines, the motion…
The images were created with original pen sketches onto paper and then careful editing and inking using digital proceses. I will take photos of the actual prints soon. You can see larger individual images of each print in a section in my portfolio here.
Each image is available from today as an A3 print, an A4 print and an A6 postcard.
The A3 prints are limited to 100 high quality Giclée copies of each and are signed by me each one is $90 or $500 for all six.
High quality signed unlimited laser prints are also available for a lesser price.
