In September 2022, at the New Glasgow Society on Argyle Street in Glasgow, Scotland, I held my first solo show following the lockdowns. The exhibition featured my latest body of work, including canvases, drawings, projections, and sculpture.
I feel this word embodies my current work looking towards optimism in the future with aesthetic forms with a touch of mystical symbolism.
The work in the expo and my work mixes traditional techniques such as clay, drawing and painting with new techniques such as 3D printing, projection, 3d graphics etc. This also reflects how my work evokes the future and the past.
The expo also had an interactive element where attendees had to guess where the geo cubes were located in Scotland (fictitious), the winner received one of the sculptures.
The location was Arisaig, the winner nearly got it exactly in that location! I organised and designed all the promotional material for this expo.
Some of the work in the expo is still available to buy. You can also view and download the post catalogue of the expo by clicking the link below.
